Milena Govich

 

Milena Govich (Serbian born October 29, 1976) is an American actor as well as a director, singer as well as a dancer most well-known for her role as NYPD Detective Nina Cassady on the television series Law & Order.



 



 Early childhood education and education



 Govich was born in Norman, Cleveland County, Oklahoma. Dr. Bruce Michael Govich who passed away in 1998, as well as Dr. Marilyn Green Govich[2] were her parents. Marilyn currently teaches voice and Bruce worked as a professor at the University of Oklahoma. Her father was Serbian and her mother is of Scottish and English heritage. Milica Govich is Milica's aunt and has been seen on film, television, and Broadway.



 



 Milena was valedictorian for Norman High School's class of 1995. Following her academic parents, she graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1995 as valedictorian. She was awarded a double degree, in performance and premedical studies, and an additional minor in violin and dance. Following graduation, Govich moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting.
