Emily Procter

 Emily Mallory Procter (born October 8th 1998) is an American activist and actress. She played Ainsley Hayes one of the characters in The West Wing's political dramas (2000-2002, 2006 and 2006). Calleigh Duquesne on the CBS police procedural drama CSI: Miami (2002-2012).



 



 Early life



 Procter was conceived on October 8, 1968. William Procter, an obstetrician, adopted her as an infant . She was also adopted by Barbara Jones, a volunteer worker. She was born in Raleigh. She was three years old at the time her parents divorced. Whit is her older brother and is also an adopted child.



 



 Procter attended Ravenscroft School in Raleigh. While studying at East Carolina University, she joined the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and worked as a television weather anchor on WNCT TV in Greenville, North Carolina, then graduating with degrees from dance and journalism.
